When I Have The Heater In My Car It Is VERY LOUD...
when i have the heater in my car on it is extremely loud, when i shut it off, it sounds very loud....last year this used to be very quiet,when i shut off the heater the loud fan noise goes off, any ideas as to why my heater fan is so loud?

Fan motor going bad or maybe a leaf in the blower fan.

i have the same problem, it's inouing... very much... makes my car look bad in front of others

2000 Mercedes S500
i've had the same problem. the heat/ac blower motor had to be replaced. fyi, it's sold as one piece including the motor and the belt. i think i paid about 3-400 on ebay. it basically made my car sound like a siren and drew the wrong type of attention from people.

Sounds like u either have leaves or something in the blower motor or the motor itself is going up.
