mercedes s500 w220
Computer going nuts HELP

I have a 2000 s500 and i turned it on and all of a sudden the steering wheel froze, all pwer except computer went black, and abs, bas, airmatic messages came up. has this ever happened to any of you guys and do u know wat causes it. Thanks in advanced

Check/replace your Battery.

That was my first thought too. Sounds like a power management issue. 99% of the issues you saw pop up are probably not real....just signs of sickness from a bad battery. Keep your fingers crossed that this is all that it is.

Even though you got the car to crank, that battery can still be the problem.

So i go to the dealer and it did it again and then the key failed completly. i had to order a new key and now the car is there this happened in the service lane so they put it on rollers and moved it, embarassing. But the dealer here is awesome they are not charging anything.
