HELP, WHEEL APPLICATION TROUBLE!!

Just recieved my wheels today. 2002 S430, and the rears don't fit (20x10). They are slightly hitting the brake caliper. They try spacers, now there saying the lug bolts are too short and they don't know where I can get any long enough. Any suggestions. Has anyone ran into this problem.

The lesson is, look before you leap. Matters such as offset, maximum sizes and widths, need for spacers (and whether their use is advisable) should have been determined before you purchased your wheels. The Tire Rack runs a forum on MBWorld, and has a website in addition with all kinds of good information.

I do not have a specific answer to your question; others may.

Go to a high end wheel shop. They should have different length lug bolts in stock and can help you out.

IAW with this post, link, all you did is go over there and look for sizing after having received your wheels. In none of your other posts do you even state what wheels you got. Except in those you state you got your wheels 3 days prior to this posting.

I got the Vertini Hennessey's (20x8.5)(20x10) vertiniwheels.com. I checked with vertini, as well with tirerack. Everyone said it was a go, I guess not.

IMO the problem is the offset on the rims that it. so go with the spacers and finding bolts shouldn't be too hard hope this helps.

not to be negative but

this is just the beginning of the problems to come, thats to much offset,if your mismatched lug bolts/spacers are ever mixed up front/rear at a tire shop it's gonna be an issue.tell tire rack what happened and exchange the rears for somthing that requires no kluster f***ing to allow them to run on the car.if you take the time now it will save you in the long run.
