Fit? You call that Fit?

You can;t even haul people in the back of that car. An when it scrubs its taking rubber with it.

I'm sorry but I don't think so... That is a very Un-classy look I have to say.

That car gets a big UGLY... Plus those unsightly swirls need to be buffed or something... No.. NO.. No.

2 inches of rim and tire sticking out of the wheel well is just not doing it for me....

But its yours so enjoy it..

IMO it would look good if you did it VIP style and tuck the wheels into the fenders. for me it just doesnt pull it off if you leave it at stock height. but I like the rims.

1. The car has gotten buffed and waxed
2. I can put two people in the back seat on regular airmatic mode.
3. If you read correctly My06clk you will see that some pictures were taken before the rims were modified.
4. Lowering links are here so i'll get back to you guys on the VIP styling thing.
5. I'm going to work now, so whenever I get the time the pictures will be up, I am a college student, let me know how many you know have a S500 that Mommie or Daddy didn't pay for at my age!!!!

don't get all twisted up. It's YOUR car, people are just stating their opinions. The car looks BADA$$ no doubt, but personally I'm not feeling the the wheels sticking out. Too much of a sacrifice to achieve the big lip. If it doesn scrape on you then your good!
IMHO the car looks rapperish, but you are a young cat so it's all good

Looks good, it would look better dropped a bit....if I wanna drop my car I need to sell my house first...lol incline is to steep to get in the garage. Car looks good imo I would take off the chrome strips on the doors, but if you like its all you. Congrats on getting the 20X11 on the back WOW I really did not think it was possible but I was proved otherwise. Take some side shots I want to see how far they stick out.

I had to modify my rear calipers and a 5mm spacer to get my new 20x9.5 to fit in the rear. The caliper stick out too far for a low disk wheel.

Newer wheels offset and/or Disk contour often don't work for W220. Newer wheels tend to be made for the W221 and the offset works a lot better on the W221.

But that goes out the window if the W221 is a AMG S63, S600, S65 The AMG calipers are Huge!

With the 11's it will be very hard to get the wheels to tuck if the fenders is not pulled.

The only time they scrape is if i have 2 people in the back seat and I hit a speed bump too hard. If you look at the angle of the tire, it just barely tucks in. ( I had the fender plastic trimmed) And thats on regular suspension mode.

Yes, they take the specs of your vehicle and make a rim specific for your car. I had to sign a waiver since no one has done an 11in. I am a huge fan of the big lip look. Its took about 4 weeks for them to machine the wheels and put them together.(mulitpiece)

IMO it would of looked better if you had put in say a 305 or a 315 tire.. The rim is too wide for the 285..

Orginally I wanted to go with 305 or a 315, but unfortunately this is no BMW 750i. With an 11inch wide rim the tire would have hit both the fender and rubbed against the chasis, then it would have been impossible, instead of just difficult.

I'm not sure you're going to be able to tuck the back wheels. Hopefully the back will camber a little. Good luck. If you can tuck it, you're car would look sick!

AMG E55, Stage 1, Strait Pipe from Primary Cats
As of now Benz5656, that thing is sporting the dreaded chuckwagon setup. If you can get it low and tucked? It will look great.

due to the fact that they way our fenders are, the only way to run a big wide rim like that is to run strech tires so it wont rub on the fender.

That looks nice lowered like that, but where I live that is simply not practical. Especially how speed bumps are designed.

Another note, I had my fenders rolled and pulled today. Had 4 people in the car on the softest setting and did about 90mph with no rubbing or scrubbing and the wheels tuck nicely. I'll get some pictures up later.
