Rims came today
I got the MHT LLC in black and chrome with custom offsets, the rims are 20X9 and 20X11. When the car comes back from the body shop i'll let you know how it goes. Thanks to everyone that gave input on tire sizes, we are still going for the 295/30/20 in the rear with custom fender modification.
(Does anyone know where I can get some Mercedes Center Caps?)

2003 Mercedes S500 Lorinser
no lol
THe bigger and WIder the Rim THe SLOWER the Car.
All the extra rubber means is more grip and so the car looks wider and handles alittle better. I doubt hes gonna even be able to drive it lol when they stick those 295's on... ever here of rubbing/ doing serious cutting modifications to the wheel well.. which is not worth it.
But there is no point for beyond 275 size tires because your car only has 380horsepower which can barely get those tires spinning.
Only car should consider that upgrade is the S65 or S55.
Good look though

This is obviously not a daily driver, only thing i'm trying to prove is that it can be done. I've put 265 front and 315 rear on a BMW 2000 BMW 540i.
Also the numbers I am using are the width aspects, its how wide or (tire print) on the road.

Sorry buddy but I just don't think you are gonna put 20X11 on the rear...20X10.5 max. A friend of mine owns a rim shop and they have tried many times in the past. If you can do it more power to you...and post pics I would love to see the stance it has.....good luck

I agree you can put 20x10 with a 295 tire....I have 20X10 with a 285/30/R20 and not to bad on the rubs.....I just don't think you can put a 20X11 wheel in the rear without shredding the tires thats my arguement.

1. Those tires are HUGE.
2. Of course with Toyo's or Nittos because they have that nice cure at the side wall
3. You will never be able to lower that car and I think it's high as hell and looks funny like that. The whole point in using Big wheels and tires is so that you fill up your wheel well with no gap. what is that 2"? I guess it doesn't rub how could it?
I still don't get why you chose those wheels and limited yourself to have to ride around looking like a praying mantis. I could actually feel that car if it wasn't so UP. Too bad. The calipers smoke.. good job on that.

Yeah those 295/30/20s do look good, but I agree the car could use a 1 inch drop or so. But the issue is the rim is 20X11 with a 295/30/20. Like I said its not costing me any extra to switch out the tires. I only have to pay for whatever fits so i'll let you guys know how it goes.

I would love to drop mine...but I have a rear entry garage the has a steep incline.that will bottom out before I make it in....that whats holding me back.

Ok rims on the car
I went with 245/35/20 on the front and 285/30/20 in the rear....The rear rim is 20X11 with a 5inch lip!!! I will post more close up pictures. ** The middle picture was taken before back of rim and caliper were modified**
Modification list
1. Rim has a +31mm offset with (1/4 spacer)
2. Rear caliper was grinded and painted (1/8in)
3. Inside spokes on rim was grinded (1/8in) to clear caliper
4. Fenders rolled

props on making them fit stick out a bit too much for my liking and i prefer the lowered look...doesnt look like you can lower it much........any rubbing at all? looks good tho overall
