My first S-Class

I'm a proud owner of a S-500 4MATIC. i've been a CLK owner for years and had a few. After totaling my CLK the other week I decided to go with a S-Class. I'm hoping I stick with the S for many years. I'm pretty happy with this car it has I believe every option that was available*.

Thanks to this forum for helping me decide to go with the S-Class.

*minus the AMG Sports package.

Hmm

Nicely equipped S. I like it.. It would be great to mod the crap out of it and give it some personality...

The right front fender looks lighter than the rest of the car. That's just a reflection I hope. otherwise.. pretty cool Congrats...

Good job... Looks like a nice purchase..

You're missing distronic for sure. Not sure if you got the rear power heated/vented/orthopedic seats, front dynamic seat, trunk closer, tire pressure monitor.

Yup it does. I think it was an extra option for those wheels god those are the first to go.

also Gordon-- the AMG package would of been nice but then it would of just made me wish i went with the S55

I will say that this will take some getting use to from switching from my little small CLK.

Looks great! I added the bixenons and wood wheel/shifter to our '00 and it makes SO much difference. If you haven't lived without them, it's hard to appreciate...

agree, my CLK had BiX as well as the S.

Damn Gordon I think i'll just drive my friends S55 and use his gas. but honestly I don't want a sports car I'm really happy with getting a luxury Sedan. Maybe i'll cheat and get AMG wheels and hmm the side skirts and fake the funk. LOL j/k

I think the S Class will be a bit harder to flip on its side like my CLK. but what do i know? LOL

**Gordon I agree though that AMG kit is sweeeet!

That's Parktronic. Why do people always mix up Parktronic and Distronic? lol

Congrats!
Beautiful car.

I have a CLK and my parents have the 03 W220. I drive both cars equally and definitely drive it more than my parents. It's weird to switch off sometimes, I'm used to driving a small car, then I go and drive this huge tank.

Although my previous car was a 740iL bmw, so I'm used to the big cars.

Enjoy the ride. Big difference in CLK vs S
