My masterpiece in development – TT Motorsports S600 V12 Bi-T
So as some of you already know, I purchased a 2005 Mercedes-Benz S600 V12 Biturbo from Sovereign Mercedes in Brooklyn, NY. I traded my 2003 S500 for on Friday. The car has every option except distronic. The car is beautiful and super fast stock, but my goal with this car is to make it one of the fastest, if not THE fastest S600 in the country.
Tuning Technology Motorsports in Farmingdale, New York is working on this project with me from start to finish and this car will be one of the shop's show cars when it's complete.
Lots of plans for this car but let's start with what she looked like when I bought her...
Stock exhaust was not really doing much for me except making whooshing sounds so it had to go ASAP...
So we replaced that with a Eisenmann Race Exhaust with 4x 90x70mm tips...
The exhaust turned out to be a little smaller than we thought, so Meisterschaft is currently designing and producing a 1-of-a-kind exhaust only for this specific car!
With the new S65/CL65/SL65 2-Piece 19" AMG rims the car was in need of some spacers for proper offset... as you can see from these BEFORE pictures:
So we installed Eibach Pro-Spacers 15mm/25mm:
Next we took a trip to PES (Performance Engine Software) in Ivyland, PA for a fully custom developed ECU flash... lot's of thanks to Tony and Jeremy for their time and effort and the multitude of re-flashes that we had to do until we were putting out the correct numbers.
After the final flash the car was pushing 14psi boost.
Next we're off to FABSPEED Motorsports in Ambler, PA to see what kind of numbers we're putting down... It was great to meet everyone at Fabspeed and those guys had a beautiful state-of-the-art shop...
We were unable to determine the torque output because we could not get a reading from the car, so it's pointless to tell you guys any numbers right now but trust me they were very impressive so far!
The car is awaiting additional mods at the moment such as tints, tinted tails, painted side markers, CF Airboxes, Kleemann Airfilters and huge brakes. Once we do the air intake upgrades we will re-do the dyno runs and I will post some numbers.
:drive:

Wow. You started with a gorgeous, powerful car to end up with an exceptionally gorgeous and powerful beast. I think that there are very things as sexy as big, powerful cars like the W220. Great car and great write up.
With gas being over $4, you must get some look of disbelief, like they saw a UFO or something.
Awesome.

Very, Very Nice!! What does the exhaust sound like? I had a mechanic friend of mine tell me that they took off the mufflers of an S600TT, and it was still quiet. So, I'm very curious. Mine is way too quiet, and I'm not sure what to do.

I will make a video for you tomorrow... it's sounds perfect. Not too obnoxious but let's you know that it's a serious car that's not kidding around.

thats on spray, off spray he runs 11.20's I like our enthusiasm for this project. I will help you how I can, but I cant tell you everything

One thing i have learned though.. You dont need any air boxes or ECU/TCU tune if you want to go quicker than Steph. An exhaust, good fuel setup and MORE NITROUS!!

THE fastest S600 runs 10.50's.. On the bottle or off the bottle it makes no difference.. At the end of the run it was a 10.50 pass. Now if Chris throws the bottle on the car and makes a run for a 10.40 ET then he can safely be called the the fastest S600 if he achieves it.. Anything less and it wont be true.
thats a fairly naive statement

I know what it runs intimately as Stephen and I are friends, share data, and we run our cars at the same track. On the bottle or off makes a big difference in bragging rights since this is what its about. Some of us choose NOT to run nitrous.

nice job but why did your opt for spacers instead of 9.5 wheels in the rear? You still don't have the extra 2 inches of footprint you need.
I still have spacers sitting in my garage because they made my car shake...

your statement :
I am here to help Chris, as well as I was here to help you with your car when you produced low TQ numbers. But info like the above is not going to help him unless its proven.

I do have 9.5 wheels in the rear, 8.5 wheels in the front... those the same exact rims that are on the '06 S65 AMG.
