Trunk soft close?

PROBLEM SOLVED
So i purchased a remanufactured vacuum/pse pump from ebay for 280 bucks, and swapped out the bad unit from my trunk and bam, everything is working- doors lock and unlock now, doors soft/close working, and trunk locks and unlock. I guess it was just a bad pump after all. Mercedes wanted 600 bucks plus tax for the pump alone so I am very happy about how everything turned out. Taking the pump out and putting the new one in took 5-10 min total. A real breeze.

Oh I also bought a new 20 amp fuse because apparently the bad pump had burned it out, so I put in a good fuse. Nappa auto parts was selling a 5 pack for 3 bucks.

Hi,
I have a problem with my wiper system. When I switch on the car (Merc. S430 2006) the wiper starts working and stop after a couple of strokes. Sometimes back it was fixed on its own, but now it is an ongoing phenomenon. Help will be appreciated.

This occurs on my car too (wiper problem). Seems to be due to intermittent rainsensing wipers.
If i turn on the wiper for 2-3 strokes and turn it off sometimes it 'bounces' back up a bit on the windshield (wiper not completely down at bottom of windshield).
When this happens, the next time I start the car up the car thinks its in the middle of a wiper stroke and tries to restart the wipers to finish the stroke.
not too technical language I know but at least thats what happens on my car! Aaron
