Selling my wheels

After my car was in the stealership for 2 months due to the fact they dont know what the heck they're doing, I traded my S430 for a 2008 EX-L V6 Honda Accord. I didnt sell the rims with the car so i'm selling my wheels on ebay.

yikes,honda?

their reliability goes without question, perfect.you dont have to worry about door dings any more either, you wont be worried about someone vandalizing your car simply based upon the percieved status of MB owners.no one will stare at the honda wondering what it is like to own/drive one.you will be "stealth" and blend in so well that the valets wont even expect a tip anymore.strangers at shopping malls will walk up to it and try to put their keys into it and then respond that they have one identical to it around here somewhere.your fuel efficiency will go up,your safety will go down.your maintanance costs will dramatically decrease, but the envy and memories that you will experience when a beautiful S class pulls up along side you will cost you the same amount in "High content alcohol beverages" knowing you are locked into the honda perception of simply what a "car" should be. ps this is all in fun and nothing personal,it is just a sad situation.

I know what you're saying> I'm already missing my S430. But when I bought my MB from a non MB dealership I bought a warranty that I thought covered stuff for a MB (like Computer modules) but it didnt. My car was in the shop for literally 2 months and they didnt know what was wrong with it. Everytime I went to pick it up (7 times) as soon as I got in the the car the error light was on. I was so sick of it. I made 3 car payments while it was in the shop and I felt like I was wasting my money.
The Accord is nice. I'll post pics when I get the rims put on there. Its a V6 fully loaded with Leather , black on black , duel exhaust.
Dont get me wrong either. I will be buying another MB in the future. My goal is to buy a S550 or CLS within the next year or year and a half. I can pass the Accord to my wife while I move back up to a MB.

Great response Cobra. I always think about dumping my car for something that just works like a Honda/Toyota but every time I even get close to doing it, I run through that same process you did in that response.

Its funny how much we love these cars but also hate them for the stupid things that break that cost way too much to fix.

I guess we all will progress to what appears to be a very reliable S550. At least according to the W221 forum.

thanks for taking that thread with a grain of salt.i envy the reliability of that new honda and resent that honda proves that reliability is attainable in a fully loaded automobile, that S550 is starting to grow on me also.at first i didnt like the new fender design but im starting to appreciate it as time go"es on.just think someone else is now facing the challenges of owning your last S class.
