is it plug and play for BT for 2005 S500?

I am hoping to get a Bluetooth Puck to be used in a 2005 S500 in Canada/US!! If so, which puck model do i need to get?

Would anyone know if it is just simple plug and play for this model year, and no other wirings need to be installed inside the car?
Did anyone ever try this on his/her 2005 S500?

please let me know... thanks!!
my dealers are not telling me exact answer to these questions... not sure why... thanks guys!!

Do you have an OEM phone installation currently? If so, the current MHI cradle just pops out and the current Bluetooth puck from the dealer pops in. Your 2005 should be the same as my 2006. If you don't have an MHI phone installed, the dealer has to do that first and it will probably cost about $1,500. The puck is about $500 more.

thanks guys!!

I don't have an MHI phone installed yet... just an open space in my armrest to put things in... what is an MHI? our car was bought as it was without us ordering anything about installing any kind of phone yet in the past couple years... therefore, there are things that need to be done to the car first before putting in the Bluetooth puck?

thanks again

This is the install for the Multi-Handset Interface.

It costs about $1,500 because you see there are quite a few parts and a fair amount of labor involved. This was the "pre-wiring" option when the car was ordered, and most were ordered without it. I had mine done by the dealer, as most people who have OEM phone integrations did.

Since these instructions were created, the Bluetooth puck was released which replaces the cradle installed on page 12.
