Angry Need Help, Got a Scratch

Last night while driving home what appeared to be a bird's nest fell out of a tree and hit my roof. It didn't dent it but put several small scratches just ahead of the right front corner of the sunroof. I've tried Zymol QC and a claybar. They reduced them but are still visible. They stand out at some angles and light conditions but do not appear in others.

I'm not going to paint the whole roof over it but does anyone have any suggestions as to how to hide them further. There are also a couple of small scratches in the windshield but I think a glass shop can polish them out.

Thank you for any advice.

Friend, y ou need to search the site i.e. the Detailing section. This question has been answered there several times.

As a rule of thumb, if you can FEEL the scratch with your finger as you run it over the area you will need to repaint like you think. If not, you can clean/polish/buff with a hand-held orbital buffer yourself.

Try posting over in the Detailing section: Justin TRW and AlBoston are terrific resources for these problems.
