Left tail light, part of green circuit board may be dead
In my factory '02 tail lights, one of the left rear parking lights (i.e. the lights that come on when the headlights are on) were out. I did some trouble shooting and found that it wasn't the bulb broken, or the thing the bulb goes in (because I took it out and plugged it in the to the other side and it works). It has to be something with the green circuit board.
I recently (well 2 months ago) purchased some DEPO aftermarket '03 and up tail lights. I had to take the green circuit board from my old tail lights and install it in the new ones in order to get my brake lights to work. It wasn't "plug and play" as described when I purchased, but thats a whole different story....
Anyways, even after installing my new tailights, the same light is out. So it has to be the circuit board.
My questions:
1. Is this green circuit board something I can purchase separate from MB or do I need to purchase a whole new left tailight assembly?
2. Have any of you come across this problem??
Thanks in advance for your help.
