OXYGEN one last question. by removing the REAR RESONATOR is there any cell or difference on performance ?(low, high end power) how about emission would i have a problem?
Any cell? Do you mean CEL as in CHECK ENGINE LIGHT? If so then no, resonators have nothing to do with the engine or the emissions system.
No performance difference.
Nothing to do with emissions, it's only for sound.
I removed my resonator today!!!!!! sounds the same inside and out. but if you are standing behind the car you will notice a light growl . very little. I thought it was pointless removing it , it's fine with me but i wouldn't do it again on another car. sound clip coming soon.
I got Akebono Break Pads as well by recommnedation of a few members on here, Its amazing if you like your car clean all the time. Im about 3 weeks in and still no break dust on the rims
Got 2 of those and Install was $500 they heated up the bumper a bit to push the exhaust in on each side, but not sure if they really needed too as there is finger room between the bumper and muffler , also my break pad job was included with the $500 install job.

Both sides 2 resonators !!!! got the sound clip . click on both links and let them play. you'll see the difference
the mufflers you have on arent high flow mufflers there for they are still making the car sound quiet, you need to go after market or amg to really get the sound like mine or oxygens

I'm good man that is good enough , the video clip actually makes it sound deep , but it is very quite . I wouldn't go after market on the S500 , would be way to loud for that car , i like the smoothness of the S500. Besides my SL500 is loud enough for me .

Hi I was wondering weather removing the exhaust from around the half way point of the car is and . It's a s320 w220. So I've basically removed the exhaust system from the cats back. Is this bad for the car. . The sound js amazing .
You should at least need to put a straight pipe to exit at the rear or side of the car , otherwise you'll heat up the floor pan and exhaust may enter the cabin if you just let the exhaust terminate in the middle of the car

Yep, not a good place to dump all that heat and exhaust for any amount of time. It's okay to dump it like that with cutouts for a minute or two, but constantly can be a safety risk, and the components in that area aren't designed for that, so some things could be damaged.
I have a 2003 S600 with the rear resonators removed. It sounds fantastic! It is also silent at highway speeds, which I like, because of the turbos silencing the system. You can only hear it around town at lower RPM's to show up those guys in their 95 honda civic hatchbacks with holes poked in the muffler.
