You WERE in the S600 weren't you? Why did you stop? lol j/k if this was in Canada they would of seized your car on the spot before the courts and slap a $10,000 fine on you

How many points is that on your Liscense?
I know in Upstate New York, if you go over a 100 they actually take you to jail on the spot.
I know a guy in Florida that I met on youtube and they acutally can travel to you.

I got caught doing 129 mph in a 75 zone on an empty I-10 in West Texas. Anywhere else they would put you to jail for that. I love Texas for that.
I recommend you hire an attorney - do you know Monks & Monks Attorneys in Houston? They specialize in traffic and have gotten several of my and my families tickets dismissed or just put on probabtion. Their fee is reasonable.
By the way, my dad lives in Friendswood too and he drives a beautiful black S500 Individual (on Moss Point Dr). Look out for it since he likes to haul a$$ too!

IF you were traveling 104 mph in a 65 zone on an empty strecth of road, there is not a R/D around that would have helped you.Originally Posted by housclass

YOu need to slow down.
Installing a R/D hardwire is simple. Assuming you want to mount it on your lower windshield. There is switched 12v power on the ashtray in the center console you can tap into. I use this for my Phone charger hardwire.
AS with any 12v hardwire, you have to take apart the C/L connector and use the wires on the south side of the transformer keeping it in place and wrapping it securely.

Yes, I forgot to say that I had a Valentine One installed and got busted anyway because if you're on an empty road and you meet a cop you have no chance. The only way to see a cop is by picking up the radar of him shooting at other cars in front of you.

yup yup.. for this reason I don't bother with R/d's in Texas. Too many ways to get stuck with nothing between you and DPS, and too tempting to tear along the dotted line.Originally Posted by philippz

Here in NC we have this thing called a "prayer for judgement".
In NC for automobile insurance purposes, one can have up to one PJC per household every three years that will not cause insurance premium increases. For driver’s license purposes, a driver can have up to two PJCs within a five year period which will not result in driver’s license points nor have any effect on the driving record of the person receiving the PJC.
I believe the two Carolinas are the only states that allow this.
Never had to use one myself and hopefully I never will.

i was on the hardy toll road...if there was a car a good mile ahead of me i believe a good r/d would have picked up the leo...those not from houston, it's a five mile straight-away...
oh yea...david sprecker is my attorney.
i did get talk to sunil about the ci install...seems like a sharp guy...i will probably use him for the install.
