Question Rear Hydraulic Suspension Drops

Hi MB enthusiasts - I own a 01 S430 and its having an issue with the rear driver side suspension dropping over night. It started when the outside temp dropped into the single digits. When I go to start up the vehicle it rights itself. How should I address this? Thanks in advance for all replies.

you most likely have a leaking rear shock. Shock replacement should solve the problem, but it may be worth it to pay the $100 for MB to take a look at it.

Arlen, you probably have a bad valve block.

Thanks a lot for the replies and it's well appreciated. I am going to replace the o-rings in the airmatic shocks.

I have another situation and that's with my radio. There's no sound to be heard. Do you think I should remove the .75 amp fuse and see if its the amp and is it easy to get to the fuse holder and the radio amp?

Just an update to all - I'm taking Oliverk's advice and having my car checked by a MB mechanic. He's going to take my car in and run a complete diagnostic. He's actually a good friend and he suggested for me to write up a list of things wrong with the car and he'll treat it as a check list. Oxygen you probably know the dealership - Rallye Motors.

Thanks Again
RC
