Hi all
I have a problem in that there is a noise (slight tapping), when the blower fan is on. If it is on the 1st speed (lowest), you do not hear it. If the setting is 2nd or 3rd speed, then you hear like a tapping sound coming from the passenger side front footwell under the glove box area.
If I raise the speed to 4th speed or more, the sound goes.
It sounds to me and after reading the many similar posts, that I may have a leaf(s) trapped in the blower fan or indeed the fan is falling apart?
Do I just just remove the pollen filter and housing etc to get to this area, how about the blower fan itself, is this easily removed? I also need to take my glove box out as I need to replace the catch, this may make things easier?
Thanks.
