Brakes squeal like a pig all the time...
My brakes were perfect for about a month or so after being installed... after that the car started to squeal a little when you were stopping and it got progressively worse and became somewhat embarrassing.
I took the pads out, applied a spray-on lubricant for pads and assembled. Fine for about 10 stops then the sounds return.
About two months with the new brakes I took everything apart, cleaned it and lubricated everything with anti-squeal paste. Also coated the rotors with special metalic coating designed to stop brake noise.
Assembled everything, drove the car... it was fine for about 10 stops then the sounds crept in again.
I'm out of ideas and just honestly annoyed.

The S65 brakes do that. The book even includes:
High-performance brake system (S 65 AMG only)
The high-performance brake system is designed to operate under the extremely high operating demands required to accommodate the performance capabilities of the vehicle. The brakes may produce a squeaking-type noise depending on the
vehicle speed
brake force applied
ambient conditions, e.g. temperature and humidity
SLR drivers report their cars being confused with ambulances because the squealing is so loud.
My advice is to train yourself to be proud of your loud brakes.

Do the S55 AMG brakes have this problem?
I hate the squeeling too... Oxygen, put the stereo up loud enough so you don't hear it. Sometimes if you slam the brakes hard enough, it gets rid of the dust thats hidden/built up that causes the squeel.
Don't they make anti squeel oil? Maybe better than the spray?

So you're saying your car exhibits the same behavior?

I wish my brakes squeaked. Anybody know how to make them squeak?

Get PLENTY of heat in the brakes and the squealing should stop or be diminished significantly!
Roll that S600 like a driver and not a cruiser SON!

you can apply a but if high temp grease between the pins and the spring that will help a lot in that area.. I also oated my spacers between the pad and between the calipers with high temp silicone ( orange RTV ) let it set and I don;t squeal at all anymore.
I bought new brake hardware just in case but never installed it because I have good results.. That was early last year sometime and I haven;t had any issues since.

Lately I've been getting on the brakes a little harder, they make some noise initially but after a few red lights they are warmed up and make no noise at all.
Thanks for the information.
