2000 S430, 1999 E 320, 2 K5 blazers,
I have 126k miles on my S430, i have had no engine or tranny problems. car runs strong knock on wood. but the suspension problems are a nightmare. If you think this is not cheap you are very incorrect (not saying you said this). i have had nothing out of pocket expense on this. to give you a example airmatic, bushing, steering rods, A-arms and the list goes on and on. and everytime you replace a suspension part you need a alingment that is 150-200 a pop. and only the dealer can do this. personally i would never buy a airmatic benz again. but like i said the motor and tranny are fine just everything else blows.
good luck and yes i still love my benz dont know why i just do

Every car you buy, it is going to have "Some chronic issues" with the specific vehicle. Audi A8's regular maintenance item is the timing belt every 75k mi and it is $2,200 service. W124 model benz (300E), head gasket leak, Nissan sedans with tranny issue, Jaguar with electronics and oil leak, etc etc... If you like the car buy it. If you fear "Something" is going to break and worried, ride a bicycle.
