I would stay the hellll away from a 2000 S430, you can't get more bottom-of-the-line on a W220. I wouldn't own any W220 out of Warranty personally (which is why I sold mine), but with todays soft market, and the extremely soft W220 market, I wouldn't go under an '04 (some substantial upgrades in '04 that go deeper than the facelift), and I wouldn't pay over anything low-low $20's, and I'd get one with at or under $60K miles, and a service history you know.

Take it from me, it's not a cake-walk selling a 220 to anyone who knows how much these cars can be to keep on the road. They're $100K cars regardless of how dirt cheap you can get them these days.

The plus points of the car were definitely allmost worth it to me to keep it.
