HID Installed! Night and day difference

I got the HID kit from ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem=

It is excellent quality. Warning canceller built-in and 6000k color is really different then the halogen.

I will take some pictures and post soon, the weather has been crappy here in IL.

Kit itself is not hard but to find the room to install and mount ballast is the hardest part. Done in an hour though.

I don't wish to speak for others, but i would be more interested in shots of the engine bay and the actual install.

what kind of headlight did you mount these hids to? because there is a difference if you put it in a xenon headlight as opposed to a halogen headlight because the light out put out of each one is different, do you have projectors or 2000-2002 headlights?

Miine is 2003 and it has projector lens. I had to drill out and make 1" hole on the back of the headlight housing cover to fit the wiring.
No flickering and no error message since this ballast has built in warning canceller. I was looking specific HID system to make sure I do not get any warning message. THis ballast is made in Japan not some crappy China or Taiwan.

Error Canceller

This unit I have installed HAS the error canceller BUILT-IN on the ballast. No need for separate unit.

I am not sure if your headlight aim is off, but I have not done any adjustment to my aiming and it has not changed my vision or reduce illumination range.
