Hello Guys, Can any of you masters able to tell me what is engine 113 and 275 for MB S class? Thank you, I have learn a lot from your postings.

M113 is the series designation for the various V8s used in the W220 and other MB models of that vintage. M275 is the V12 series from the S600 and S65.

M275

The M275 is a 3 valve per cylinder 5.5 L (5513 cc) twin turbocharged and intercooled version. Bore is 82 mm and stroke is 87 mm. Output is 500 hp (373 kW) at 5000 rpm with 590 ft.lbf (800 Nm) of torque at 1800-3500 rpm. Single over head cam engine with two banks. Charged air is air-to-liquid intercooled. Uses ECI ignition system, with 12 spark plugs per one pack. Two spark plugs per cylinder, helps with combustion and to support Ionic current measurement function sequence.

M275E60

The M275E60 AMG is a 3 valve per cylinder 6.0 L (5980 cm³) version, also twin turbocharged, reaching 22.1 psi (1.52bar) at maximum, and is air-to-liquid intercooled. Bore is 82.6 mm and stroke is 93 mm. Output is 604 hp (450 kW) at 4800-5100 rpm with 738 ft·lbf (1000 N·m) of torque at 2000-4000 rpm. Uses ECI ignition system, with 12 spark plugs per one pack. Two spark plugs per cylinder, helps with combustion and to support Ionic current measurement function sequence.

M285

The M285 is a 5.5 L (5513 cc) version built in Stuttgart, Germany. Bore is 82 mm and stroke is 87 mm. Output is 550 hp (410 kW) at 5250 rpm with 664 ft.lbf (900 Nm) of torque at 2300-3000 rpm. It has an aluminum engine block and aluminum SOHC cylinder heads. The cylinders are lined with silicon/aluminum. It uses SFI fuel injection, has 3 valves per cylinder with twin turbochargers and intercoolers, twin-spark ignition, and features fracture-split forged steel connecting rods.

The Mercedes-Benz M113 (and similar M155) engine is a V8 automobile piston engine family used in the 2000s. It was based on the similar M112 V6 introduced in 1998.

The standard Mercedes-Benz M113s are built in Untertürkheim, Germany, while the AMG E55 versions are assembled at AMG's Affalterbach, Germany plant. All M113s have aluminum engine blocks and aluminum SOHC cylinder heads. The cylinders are lined with silicon/aluminum, and the heads have 3 valves per cylinder. Other features include SFI fuel injection, fracture-split forged steel connecting rods, a one-piece cast camshaft, and a magnesium intake manifold.

M113 4.3

The M113 4.3 is a 4.3 L (4266 cc) version . Bore is 89.9 mm and stroke is 84 mm. Output is 279 hp (208 kW) at 5750 rpm with 295 ft·lbf (400 Nm) of torque at 3000-4400 rpm. Output for the variant used in the C43 AMG is uprated to 302 bhp (225 kW) and 302 ft·lbf (409 N·m).

M113 5.0

The M113 5.0 is a 5.0 L (4966 cc) version bored to 97 mm and stroked slightly more than the E430 at 84 mm. Output is 306 hp (228 kW) at 5600 rpm with 339 ft·lbf (460 Nm) of torque at 2700 to 4250 rpm. Active Cylinder Control variable displacement technology is optional.

The M113 5.5 is a 5.4 L (5439 cc) version with the same 97 mm bore as the E500 but with a longer 92 mm stroke. Output is 342 hp (255 kW) to 367 hp (255 kW to 270 kW) at 5500 rpm with 382 ft·lbf (518 N·m) to 391 ft·lbf (510 Nm - 530 Nm) of torque at 2800-5400 rpm.

The M113 5.5 ML is a supercharged and twin-intercooled version of the 5.4 L (5439 cc) M113 E55. Output is 493 hp (368 kW) (469 hp for the E55 AMG) at 6100 rpm with 516 ft·lbf (700 Nm) of torque at 2750-4000 rpm.

M155 5.5 ML

The M155 5.5 ML is special version of the 5.4 L (5439 cc) E55 for the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Output is 615 hp (458 kW) at 6500 rpm with 575 ft·lbf (779 N·m) of torque at 3250 rpm. An uprated version with 650 hp (478 kW) at 6500 rpm and 605 ft·lbf (820 N·m) of torque at 4000 rpm is featured in the 722 edition.
