Arrow Inverted Climate Control Displays (pics)

I remember my girlfriend's mother's MY02 S500 used to flip the climate control display around depending on the lighting outside.

I think after the model refinement in 2003 they eliminated that option and made the displays static. Orange text with black back ground.

I had SDS hooked up yesterday and was doing something completely different and stumbled upon the Climate settings in the CGW module:



Night design was set for "Automatic" and the day design was set for "Night Design" which I think forces the displays into the night scheme all the time.

Well I switched the day design to day and night to night and here is what we get:

Strange that they would have turned that off, i can confirm that my '99 does that anyway!
