Arrow My 2005 S600 in detail.. (18 pics)
Nice weather makes for some nice shots.. until the sun goes down..

A couple of little details..

Performance Modifications:
-P.E.S. Custom ECU Software
-BMC F1 High Flow Airfiters
-Snow Performance Water-Methanol Injection
-Meisterschaft GT Racing Exhaust
-TTMotorsports IC bypass system
-Johnson CM30 High Flow IC Pump
-Mercedes AMG tuned TCU w/ Speedshift Programming
-Mercedes AMG SL65 front-mount engine oil cooler
-A air intake tubes

Exterior Modifications:
-Rädenergie R05 20x9 front / 20x10 rear, 3-piece forged wheels
-Mercedes AMG / Brembo 8-piston calipers
-Mercedes AMG 2-piece 390 mm ( 15.4 in) aluminum / steel rotors
-Mercedes AMG CF engine cover
-DFW flat hood ornament emblem
-Front bumper side marker delete
-50% tinted windshield / 25% all other windows

Interior Modifications:
-Mercedes AMG 360 km/h euro instrument cluster
-Mercedes AMG S65 steering wheel w/ shift buttons
-Mercedes AMG shiftgate w/ C/S/M transmisson modes
-Mercedes AMG aluminum pedals

A Mercedes obviously!
Personally I think it looked better with the S65 wheels...

And do you really drive it with the seat in that position, or were you planning to sleep in it after the shoot?

It's more like I needed the seat in that position so I could take pictures of the front of the car.. But I do sleep in the car

It rides SO MUCH BETTER than the 19" AMG wheels, and I am not joking. Also, the Vredestein tires that I had on the AMG wheels were LOUD. These rims/tires are absolutely silent and ultra smooth.

awesome!!, but i do like the look of the 65 amg wheels better...and also, you've always said that you think aftermarket wheels take away from the w220 and that stock is the best option....why the change of heart?

Well that's very true... I've never been a fan of aftermarket wheels on the W220 because most of the wheels that I see take away from the true nature of the S-Class.

What really made me ditch the AMGs was the cracking of the inner lip. First my front driver's wheel cracked, and leaked air, then I had the car on the lift to correct my exhaust and I noticed the same exact crack on the rear driver's side rim. When I saw that both wheels were cracked it was time to let them go.

I saw AMG_Mikes thread ( https://mbworld.org/forums/classifie...05-wheels.html ) and I fell in love.

This past weekend we attended the Stony Brook University Annual Car Show, and my car, number 34 out of 61 cars that attended, won First Place - Best in Show...

well that sounds plausible. im glad you like the rims and i must admit, they are definitely sexy! the only thing i would do next time you need new tires is get maybe a little more meat..? those tires look really thin...

again, nice car and congrats on the first place, you beat that mean-*** clk bs??? jesus
