sticky steering wheel button

Micofiber towel, hand sanitizer and about 10 minutes works like a charm. Just did it a few months ago on my S65 and it came out awesome!
The hand sanitizer also removes pine sap easily.

Thanks mucho amigo, the hand sanitizer worked fine, as did a little WD-40 to finish off the polishing. My 2007 GL 320 CDI, with 145K miles, was in just fine condition until I put some MB leather cleaner/treatment, on a soft microfiber, and rubbed the wheel. I must have gotten some on the plastic buttons... oops, my bad.. turned sticky right away. Thanks DRTYLNDY, now they are back to normal...

Well Chris, what do you consider cheap? I read in previous posts, that the set can be from $150, up to $350 depending if you buy them at MB dealer prices or not..

I think they are about 150-160.. which is cheap for Mercedes.. plus I've tried on my last 220 and you really can't clean them that great.. the new ones just feel right compared to the old ones after the coating gets nasty..
