185k lol
found kinda of a deal on one
2001 mercedes-benz s430
miles: 184k
now i know that is a butt-load of miles...
saw it today really clean in and out serviced at mercedes every oil change and has its second transmission..
my question now is is it worth it?
i just need a new daily but i really want the s-class
btw this would be my first benz.

So I say go for it and get that car.
Plus I know parts for benz are really expensive. but i already have that planned out. I use to work at a autoshop that just sells stuff for german cars and they are OEM parts so i get some good discount with them.
but no worries im still looking for other S-class just incase this one doesnt go thru just want to see what im getting myself into since this would be my first benz.

My mustang has like 300k+ miles lol original motor and 2nd tranny just went. its a 1992
At my old job were I use to work at, some guy use to bring his w220 in and then he upgraded to the w221( AMG 65) he would bring them in for upgrades and stuff like that, always let me drive the car into the garage. i was hooked so I know what you mean by I will fall in love with the benzo lol

That's one major milestone.

One can only wonder what parts are still original, specifically the transmission.
I would buy that just because it made it that far. Then get one of those mileage badges for the grill from MB and use it as a beater. I don't think it gets anymore "pimp" than that; having a W220 beater.
sheee...
Full limo double sided on the windows including the front windshield lol
