I have some coming that are due in Friday. I'll let you know if they are any good. I hesitate to mention which unit I purchased now- but I paid $106 on ebay. If they're good, I'll let you know where I got them from.

If you want I can write up a step by step. It's in the STAR manual, but I can do it in layman's terms if you like. If you do any diy repairs, you need to get the STAR CD. It's crap, but better than nothing.

I read your post and goodluck with the 02. How long is your warranty cause the 02 NA V12's are trouble...You shoudlve picked up the Bi-Turbo with the sports package and never look back.

Look at this poor guy who just got his first Benz.

Now we are hijacking Zarko's post. Oh well.

Thanks for your concern, but I'm not worried about it. I could completely rebuild the engine for less than 4 grand myself. A rear main seal, which is where 90% of the V-12s leak, is a 3 dollar part. If you know what you are doing, it's a 4 hour fix. I know what I'm doing...

And you ruined the surprise. I got the depo brand too... lol

This is a good company, I purchased my 03+ projectors from them, ( i did a write up on here earlier on how to install the taillights) but its simple should only take 20min for both, just don't drop the nuts.
