anyone fit fog lights into stock w220 bumper?

anyone fit fog lights into stock w220 bumper?

as the title states, thinking about purchasing oem mercedes fog light from the dealer and fitting it into the oem front bumper....like the picture below

Not bad.. gives it that Brabus look... but 03+ bumper + 00-02 hood = fail.

Isn't there a guy on here that made it work, without changing the hood? I believe he had a slammed W220 or something like that.

guy with the "super slam kit"? he had the 03+ bumper fitted on his car

They don;t exist..

There are no such thing as OEM fog lights for the W220. No factory retrofits, And no options.

I tried that idea when I first did my retrofit.

Any lower fog lights have to be done after market as there are no w220's that came equipped with lower fogs. ( sad). I had a set that I ordered from tire rack that worked good for a while but the mounting was too cheezy and any rock in the road kept knocking the grill peice out. I went back to the old setup.

Yeah he took it to some custom shop, however his car was black which would hide any gap issues that would show on a car that was lets say silver.

How could you tell, what key issues did you see? Off of just looking I couldn't really tell it doesn't fit.

yes i know they dont come with oem fog lights after owning a w220 for 7 years i have noticed, OEM as in retrofitting from other models one on each side not going quad

Why would you be doing some cheesy upgrade to a S Class? Your car already has front fog lights built in the headlamp assembly.
