The bulletin about a ticking noise on light to moderate acceleration at low speeds caused by the motor mounts on the CLK500, E500, and SL500 has just been expanded to include the 2003 S500 as well.

Does it only apply to the 5.0L engines or all V8's?

I could've swore I heard slight ticking noises as described by other people on my 2001 S430

The bulletin only applies to the 5.0 liter V8 models. You may be hearing a different noise.

I thought that i heard a ticking sound from the rear of the car eminetting from the passenger side window recently, could that be it?
