2000 S500
w220 A/C not blowing cold

I have a 2000 S500 sometimes the A/C blows cold air and then somes it blows hot air....does anyone know what the problem is.....

You are low on refrigerant. You can recharge it yourself. If you charge it and the AC only stays in proper working order for a short time- say a few days, you have a bad leak. If it lasts all summer but sucks next spring, you have a minor leak. You're supposed to fix it either way...

I dont know if its his refrigerant only. The AC on the 00-03s sucked *****. Seriously. Especially in GA or here in TX. The cars were designed in Germany with decent climate and they never imagined theyd put up with our heat. Regardless charge it up and see if its any better. Replacing the AC for a newer one is costly.
