Remote question

Hey everyone i installed a Amp and some subs in my car the only problem is my battery died because i forgot to shut off the amp. Anyone know where is the best way to hook up the remote shut off in the trunk?

Take rear seat off, remove the liner inside the trunk, and pull the remote cable next to gas tank.

How do i know which one is it is a certain color? when i took the seat out i remember seeing a few cables

what do you mean ? I think you will be able to recognize the cable that you are pulling from the trunk in to the cabin.

BTW you have to remove the backrest too . then just move the liner behind the backrest and you will have access from cabin to the trunk .

i dont want to run a new cable to the front. i was talking about taping into a exisiting cable that is activated by the ignitation. so i can use that to run the remote. i was thinking of taping into the amp but i cant figure out which wire is the one that i need to tap into.

oh , I see. I did it that way before but later on I decided to make it much more cleaner so I ran the cable to a fuse box .

Thanks Dav, do you rememeber which fuse you tapped into? i have a feelig that i am going to have to run the wire all the way up also. I dont want to mess with the radio just easy fix
