Stuck with Transmission electrical connector.

There was very slight transmission fluid leak around electrical connector on my 02 S500 , decided to change that connector but got stuck with it. In the last picture if you see connector, it is held by centered bolt. To remove connector you have to take that bolt out but somehow its freely moving but not pulling out..
What should i do ? Has anyone else run into the same problem ? Please share your experience. Thanks

Transmission connector nut has lost its grip

I have had that problem and this is the metal-nut inside the female inside of the connector (inside the gearbox) that has lost its grip from the center of the plastic connector. I pulled the connector straight out by force. Do not turn the whole connector by force.. because it is sensitive electric routes that is attached to the connectors backside (conductor plate at the valve body) inside the transmission.

I did both this method to get the connector back.

The (not correct) but easy way to put the connector back is to change the O-rings to really thick ones (buy a O-ring kit and test which one fits best) and take some that is almost to big and push the connector back by force. this makes it really tight and will not ever leak again.

The only way to do it as it was before for no money (which I did and its not hard only very oily work) is to drain the gearbox(open up the plug), open up the oil-pan, take away the oilfilter (clean it), take away the 9screws that hold the valve body (inside the oil-pan) take this plate out with the connector attached (conductor plate) to it and replace the nut by glue a new (square or rectangular) one with loctite 480 into same place as the broken one. And let it dry for a day and then put everything together very gently.
