keyless go not working on 1 fob

keyless go not working on 1 fob
Hi,

W220 s320L 2001.

I have a keyless go that has been trouble free since new. today 1 has stopped working. If you press the KG button both red lights come on and it does not work at all, doors will not open, engine will not start.

I did see a very quick message flash up about coomputing data or something but it has not happened again.

Put in new batteries. no difference. Was fine yesterday!!

The other KG which the wife has works fine.

Any ideas??

Now both have failed with the same problem .but no replies from anyone!
