Just sand it down then use primer filler sand it again and paint. After it dries sand it with a 2000 grit then give it like 5 coats of clear coat.

yeah, i did that and it still didnt come out that well...some of the chrome on it even came off a bit when i was taking up some of the paint (peeling a piece that came up from sanding)...
I could probably fix it but at this point i just kind of want a new 1...

I bet you didnt use PRIMER FILLER!! Buy the grill and use your old one to get your painting skills up or not you'll have two grills that you are not happy with. My 2 cents keep the grill the way it is(chrome), its a MB signature!!!!

yeah...i didnt even do it at the shop, i just did it at my garage at home
and i dont really have the time to redo it because i wont be home much for the next 2 weeks so ill prolly just get a new 1...the way it is now isnt terrible...hell actually its not bad at all but there is 1 blemish on it which cant even be seen for a few feet away...no one thats seen it w/in the last week has even noticed it...but i do, and thats kinda all tht counts lol
