i would like to know how do you change the 4matic differntial fluid for the car??

its been some time and the awd system is starting to make some creaky sounds with making u turns and sharp turns at very slow speeds.

last time i changed it was at the dealer about 2 years ago and the way i drive it def needs a new flush again... i spent around $600 and change i dont really remmeber exactly... so can anyone fill me on on how to do it myself for cheaper and what kind of fluid to use??

I'm assuming you're talking about the transfer case.

Remove underbody trays
find fill plug and remove
insert vaccum pump tube and pump out old oil.
Purchase 2 quarts of MB ATF
use pump to fill transfer case until fluid starts to run out of fill hole.
Reinstall plug

This was a piece of cake on my 210, but the 220 may have some additional stuff in the way. Either way, not terribly complicated.

fwiw, I think you may want to take a look at your cv joints and balljoints.
