Warranties are a beautiful thing

I opted to pay my local MB dealer an additional $3700 to CPO my '06 S65 when I purchased it. My standard warranty expired 3 mos ago and I have 9 mos left on my CPO'd "extended" warranty. I brought the car in yesterday for a malfunctioning ABC system and my drivers side dynamic seat quit working.

They fully replaced the ABC pump and the Dynamic Seat Control Module for a price just over 4k......and $0.00 cost to me. One visit and the warranty paid for itself, then some.....and I got 9 mos left.

I pick it up tomorrow, I can't wait to get back into it and start beating the **** out of it again. The C300 loaner has me bored to tears.

If you ever have the oppurtunity to extend your MB warranty, do it

I am so jealous. Of your car. And of your extended warranty. :

i am glad to read that you saved $300. Warranties are suckers game. 95/100 you are not going to need it, and if you do it will be for less than it's worth or it's not covered. I am glad to see that you essentially got your money back and have broke even.

So the ABC pump caused the ABC error to come up?

i still have until october with my CPO warranty on my 05 S500, but i also got the extended for two more years until 100k miles.

i am glad to have it. My car has been a major disappoinment. About two months ago a needed an entire transmission after being stranded and towed in while driving to vacation

i have had constant problems with the sirius radio saying UPDATING DATA and not working

my seat recline broke yesterday and would not return. my wife picked up car for me and i still dont know what was wrong.

it has been wearing tires unevenly and running thru them even though rotated, balanced and aligned several times

i do not plan on keeping this car past the warranty period. repairs are ALOT
