Rust on 2000-2002 S class...read this

Canada and Europe have a 30 year rust warranty plan in effect. In the US we are just screwed I had rust on both front bottom fenders front doors and trunk lid under the license plate and the did absolutely ZERO about it. I went to all 3 dealers here in St. Louis and they said they cant do anything about it.
Thankfully i have a family member that has a body shop and he took care of all of it for practically cost.

It’s a goodwill program outside of the UK and is not required for any dealer to assist you unless they want to . if you are the original owner and always have your car serviced by the dealer your chances will be better . If you don’t regularly service your car at a Mercedes dealer they will not help you
