Camber adjustment on car w/ lowering links

Hey guys, I'm about to have my 4 wheel alignment done.

In addition, they are going to adjust my camber. I've been burning through rear tires like crazy and they seem to go bald quicker on the inside of the tire.

My car is lowered on links. Thought I'd ask, anyone else had their camber adjusted? I've heard that no kit is needed but there is still a way to adjust. I have a 2002 S430.

I actually bought a front and rear camber kit but never got around to installing it. It's made by K-Mac.

Be careful with K-Mac

My ex crew chief, who now races BMW's "sorry guys", bought all 3 K-Mac kits for his 5 series. Street, Off raod, and competition. Of the three, he said the first two were JUNK in quality. The competition was good, but road like a mac track, solid bushing design. Good luck with your headache, but be for warned about K-Mac.

Oh, and they are a roayl PITA to install.

There are a new set of camber arms out there now from what I've heard from my customers. If you go to ebay and type in "Mercedes Camber Arms" they should pop up. hope that helps.

bringing this back up are there any kits that are out there for the 220? My tires got eaten up on the last 600 mile road trip.

Yeah bump this. Just got my 4 wheels aligned and I definitely have some camber issues. Matter of fact, some of the individual sides camber differently.

I hope there is a good kit out there to help correct. I'm burning through tires like crazy!

i doubt it.. on the w220.. there's a big solid arm (lower) from the hub to the subframe..

the strut are mounted on that...so if that arm is adjustable its not going to be rigid/strong enough to support the weight...

although they could make upper control arm to be adjustable. or adjustable control arm boltS?.. but i haven't see that yet..

drive it in "Sport" suspension mode..

just make sure the toes are in specs..

you guys tires don't last that long..imagine my tires condition with my ddrop..

my toes are in spec but the fronts still wear quite a bit since they are tucking at speed. BTW I ran into your nephew or cousin here with a black S500? He said you bought a SL and sold your S55?
