2001 S500
Question Retrofit 2001 navigation system with 2004 navigation system
anybody here knows that if its possible to install a factory navigation system from 2004 s500 to 2001 s500. If yes where can I find the instructions.

There is a thread about it here on the W220 , And yes it is possible to retrofit the 2003's not the 04-up as they are DVD Base . Use the search option .

The problem is the electronics fiber optic ring. 2004+ went to MOST while 2003 and older was D2B

W220 S65 AMG
Will be very complex to install and will cost a lot of money. I would advise saving that money and upgrading to a 2004+ W220.
