FYI: Rain-X Latitude wiper blades work just fine
I know there are numerous posts on this topic. I haven't read through all of them so forgive me if this info has already been posted.
I wanted some blades I could buy locally. I bought a set of Rain-X Latitude blades (part # 5070639) from Auto Zone. They are contemporary curved blades just like the originals but they are 28" long & not 27" like OEM. However, they seem to work just fine on a 2001 S430 (your results may vary). The P&H arm adapter is included in the package & it works just fine too.
All you need to do is take a small screwdriver & pop off the pre-installed J-hook adapter. The P&H adapter has a pin that slides through the large hole in the wiper frame. Then just push the other end of the adapter down & it locks in place. The blade then installs on your wiper arm just like the OEM blade. Simple. It took 5 minutes.
The connector might not be quite as sleek as OEM. But who the heck is going around critiquing how your wiper blades are attached.
