Whats the longest your car has been at the dealer?

Just seeing if anyone else has had these problems, last year i ran over some debree and needed my front end replaces and the bumper painted. The cost was about 6K but it took over 2 months till i got my car back from the dealer.

Now my car got hit on the side nothing to bad, about 7K worth of damage but its been since August 13th, and now they said it will be done October 1st. is this normal time frame for you guys?

Thanks

That is a ridiculous wait time. I had side damage on the 600 which amounted to around $5000, it was ready in a week!

Thats what i was thinking, i have had repairs for non mercedes shops and the turn around is fast. but the two times i had body work at a dealer it takes forever to get done.

A few years ago my second S500 was vandalized, someone had poured large amounts of acid all over the hood which trickled down to fenders, headlights and inside the engine bay.

It took 6 weeks and US$17K to repair the car. The MB Body Shop manager said he had never seen anything remove paint and eat through wires and hoses so easily.

wow that sucks to hear about your S500. i called the dealer to complain and they said its the problem with insurance. They keep making appointments to come out and check the car, but never show up. now they are waiting for them to come out again to approve the new door they have to put on. Im not sure if i buy it. but either way i just have to deal with it. i guess its less miles i am putting on my car right?
