Tire pressure goes down abnormally rapid???

Does your W220 S-class require u guys to inflate more air in every 3 weeks or monthly like mine does?? It always says "check tire pressure" every month or so. It's my DD so it isn't sitting for long periods & this never happens to our E55 where i wouldn't need to add any air for few months at times. Is our S-class so heavy that it causes tire pressure to be lost that quickly? This still happens to me even after swapping on my other excel. cond. no leaks/bends 18" E55 AMG oem rims onto my S600 for 1 month & still had to add 5 lbs of air yesterday.

In a word, NO

After putting new tread on my S, I haven't had to change the air a single time in over two months. One adjustment was to lower the rear pressure, by choice. Note, mine is NOT a DD.

Anyway, is it in one tire or all of them. I would check for nails/junk in the tire of suspect

Thx for response. I too just swapped 4 new bridgestone re05a, but still needed to add 5lbs air to all 4 tires. No nails or bent wheels. Just owned this car for 5 months & also happened my orig. 19" amg wheels too. Still

Any AMG Thats Around..
1st - try checking your valve stems... If they are the rubber ones they then to dry rot.... If you have TPMS, they also have been known to leak.. A few whacks at the carwash by the wheel mop....

Or check your neighbors... Maybe they are stealing your air....

Thx for suggestions! It sleeps in garage at night & is parked separately from everyone alone at my biz during daytime, so no air stealing possibility.lol I just ordered new steel valve stems today from discounttiredirect.com
