BLACK SMOKE?

had the car in the shop for close to 2 weeks getting a full new lorinser kit.

The car basiclly sits in the same spot all the time as the shop does a bunch of customzing to it

They put a new exhaust system on the car so i went to the shop to start it up and hear it. As soon as i started it up it shot out a cloud of black smoke through the rear mufflers... and as i continued to rev the engine even though it wasnt completely warmed up it stil shot black smoke but it dissappeared gradually.

is this because of the welding when they put new exhaust in or because my (hi-flow) cats are on the way out?

I would really like to see it as well.

If it consistently does it and throws codes I would look into it a little more.
