have your fender roller guy apply a bit more heat and pressure to pull the lip out slightly. you'll be able to get a few more mm clearance. alternatively, grab some newspaper (2-3 will do), raise the car slightly, stick the newspapers between the wheel and the fender, then set the car down. have a few burly guys jump in the trunk. you'll get the clearance you need that way.
alternatively, you can try a 265 width tire, if you think a 255 is too small, but i'm unsure which tire manufacturers make a 265/30/20. might be worth looking into.
