Possum = $3000
Hit a possum on way home last night, cost of replacement of the AMG front bumper, the under panel, two little mesh grills, protection film = $3000.
Lesson learned ? Take my Escalade when go on dark road. Most likely I wouldn't even know

Raccoons don't have full coverage? Sounded like its fault. 
Bummer on you luck, a deer would have cost a lot more that 3k. Seen some $$$ cars totalled from deer hits.

I've hit atleast 6 raccoons in each of my old BMWs (93 325, 98 750il, 00 750il). Worst damage was a fog light popped out and needed to be replaced because it got dragged on the street. I hit one that was soo fat that after hitting it at 45 mph it just kept walking.
