Daytime running lights?

Hey guys,

I'm finally a new w220 s500 owner, a nice upgrade form the w140 s500. I do miss my bose system though my old benz system sounded better, but I do love my massage seats XD.

In any case I was wondering if anyone could help me out as to if I can put in some daytime running lights on the car. I've found a few lights on ebay that has halo's on both the projection light and the um... middle one (sorry I'ma noob when it comes to cars).

But I've seen S-clusiv's avatar on the forums and it has some line running horizontally through the light's and I'd rather have that than some wanna-be bmw look lol.

If anyone can give me any idea's or updates other than purchasing an LED strip and throwing my light in the oven to melt the glue, pasting it on inside and then putting the light back together because I... well yeah no I'm going to kill my light I know it for a fact.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I do not want the new E class daytime running lights on the bumpers, just inside the lights if possible =/.

You don't give us your model year; you can download the Owner's Manual for many model years from http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/#/servPrtsOwnersManuals/. You can set the daytime running lights option on the multifunction display.

It's not the new style like the newer Audis, BMWs and E-Class - but frankly, I haven't seen one of those I liked.
