Hey guys, crankshaft position sensor failed on me driving down from NYC to Philly at 4am mid way. Long story short, made it down and the next day had some free time to swap it out since I keep a spare + tools in the trunk, problem is that damn torx screw which i ended up dropping, searched for an hour and had to bend back that heatshield to get it once i spotted it. So to save myself a future potential serious headache, I ordered a bunch of extra torx screws to keep on hand and would advise everyone keep some on standby in the emergency kit as well

Crankshaft Position Sensor Torx screw Part Number 910142006001

Look on top of the bellhousing, about six or seven inches down.

Do I need to remove the fuel rail or throttle body or something? Legit can't see **** that even remotely resembles the pics in post one, aside from the engine as a whole.

Btw, what is this line that seems to be missing? Center of photo.

Found the plug. IDK how you guys are unplugging that tiny connector with that metal plate in the way. Does it have a retaining clip on the underside as well? Either way my hand is too big and doesn't fit so I'm going to leave it as is. This was a preventative thing, I'm going to leave well enough alone for now.

Thanks guys.
