i have an 05 s500... everytime someone sits in the front passanger seat and moves a little even the slightest move a red message pops up on the info screen near speedo. it reads SRS DRIVE TO WORKSHOP. then it will say pre safe unavailable. then it will go off and then keep going on and off until the person is out of the seat. if i disconnect it will there be a constant message that says srs please if anyone has experienced this or has knowledge of what to do respond to this thanks. matt

It is likely either dirty contacts in the plug under the seat (try cleaning them first) or else a bad seat sensor (somewhat expensive). A little searching on SRS will get you posts.

I'm experiencing the exact same thing. I have an 04 S500. Did you ever figure it out?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The OP did not close the loop, but the advice given to him would apply to you as well. Regardless of which component was actually causing the problem in his car, either one could do it in his or in yours.
