A freindly MB tech can lower your S class 1/2" through the airmatic computer settings using the Star Diagnostics machine. This sets it to European ride height specs.
If you want more, I was told by a local MB tuner who does lots of athletes cars that it is very easy to do with a Lorinser (I think) kit for the front, which consists of replacing 2 links with adjustable links. These fool the computer into lowering the front, thinking it is sitting higher than it actually is.
The rear has a ride height adjustment that comes stock on the car with one adjuster controlling the rear height.
I may look into that if I want it lowered further after installing my new wheels and tires.

Almost everyone lowers the airmatic/abc cars by either:
1) Using RB Tech part or TWS Lowering Kit
2) Modifying the ABC/Airmatic hangers
It is very easy to do, but it takes alot of adjusting to get the right height.

where can i get some more info on this.... With the air ride on the lowest setting, parked the front needs to drop about 2" and the rear about 1".... that is with the 19's under it.
Funny how they look slamed on the factory tires, but not on the big ones...
