You have Xenon bulbs? The one's that attach to 22,000 volt control units? Cost about > $150 per bulb if made in germany, If so then life expectancy is in years.
If these are some cheap chinese Halogen *XENON* bulbs $14.95 specials, then yes 3 months is expected.

i had 6000k hids but right one blew out and the halogen H7 bulbs no matter the brand only last bout 3 or so months, this cant be normal if the bulbs aren't constantly running bulbs should last a little longer then that or am i expecting to much

So who makes that 6000K HID bulbs? and the HID ignitor & ballast.
As for the H7 high beam bulbs you should try
http://store.candlepower.com/osraulhiouh7.html
These are H11 burners on a H7 base, they draw 65W versus 55W
but are truly 50% brighter than any H7 bulb you can buy.
They should last much longer than three months since they aren't an overstressed H7 bulb
