cd changer won't play burned cd.

Please Help. I have a 2000 S500, can anyone please tell me why a burned cd keep skipping or won't play but original played just fine, does anyone know what's the problems might be or how to fix it. I've tried different type and brand of cd but still doesn't work. Thank you.

I have the same problem

I have the same problem. I am ready to buy another Changer. It plays store bought cd's just fine. Just burned ones will not play. They don't even register on the screen. I have a 2000 S430.

Try different sfwr to burn, use audio mode, and buy cd-r music blanks.
I just did today and it worked well.

blitztheyear is correct. CD-R discs will work best; do not use CD RW discs. The '00 will not play mp3. Record the discs as audio discs, not data discs.
